Alongside work for the BBC and community radio, I also do independent productions.
This isn’t an exhaustive list but does highlight a couple of recent projects I’ve been working on.
River Radio
A pop-up radio station, broadcasting live from Exeter’s Custom House. This was a project led by Art Work Exeter.
For this project I…
- trained around thirty people to record and edit radio features and full-length programmes
- built a pop-up studio in a Grade-1 listed historic building
- set up a playout system, scheduling in all the programmes and music
- provided on-site and remote support for the full four days of broadcasting
- produced live programming

You can listen back to some of this at the AWE website here.
NHS Devon ICB
This was a series of short programmes funded by NHS Devon. It was broadcast on Phonic FM to encourage “hard-to-reach” communities to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
Occupy The Airwaves
Led by Dreadnought South West, this is 24 hour takeover of Phonic FM for International Women’s Day. I provide technical and production support for live and pre-recorded content, alongside facilitating live outside broadcasts.
